22lr Snapcap

I crafted these inserts specifically for spent 22lr cases so they can be repurposed into affordable snapcaps. Initially, I attempted to print a complete snapcap but unfortunately, the rims couldn't withstand multiple pin strikes without sustaining damage. The fit is snug as it stands, yet I highly suggest gluing them in place to guarantee their stability. If you wish to reuse the printed insert once the brass rim has worn out, applying a few drops of wax inside the casing will serve as an effective adhesive to secure it in position. When it's time to swap out the case, simply heat it up enough to soften the wax and carefully remove the printed part.
