The Bore Buddy 22LR Charging Handle Insert was born from the idea of improving upon the CMMG 22LR Conversion Kit. This kit allowed the blowback gas to travel down the handle and frequently sting users right in the face. The Bore Buddy Insert, however, fits perfectly into the charging handle cutout for a standard 5.56 gas key, effectively keeping the blowback gas trapped within the upper receiver. As a result, users can enjoy plinking without any discomfort or distraction.
