For all of us who love those little CCI boxes but don't usually buy CCI, here's a simple yet elegant solution: a box that holds 50 rounds of .22 lr, designed to be printed quickly and safely at the range. This box is a great way to bring 3D printing to the range in a much safer and more practical manner than a plastic gun. Note that this box is a fairly tight fit, so if your printer can't print within ±0.2mm accuracy, it probably won't fit together properly. Try scaling up the cover slightly for a better fit. **Print Settings:** * Printer Brand: Prusa * Printer Model: Prusa Steel * Rafts: Yes * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.25mm * Infill: 25% **Notes:** This box would look nicer printed with a higher resolution, but it prints fine at .25mm layer height and is faster that way too. Printing without a raft works just as well, but I found that the raft eliminates the need to trim excess material like a brim afterwards. On a print like this, trimming a brim can take forever.
