Simple ammo holder for 223 caliber rounds. Any size holder can be created using the basic cell design. In Tinkercad, I duplicate the initial cell and shift it 10.56 millimeters so that the edges of the cells overlap precisely. Next, I rotate the two cells 60 degrees clockwise and duplicate them again. If you duplicate and then shift by 10.65 millimeters in two steps, the next copy will automatically shift into place. Once a large cluster of cells is formed, it can be trimmed to any desired size. The individual cells can then be merged into a single cohesive holder.
