In our beautiful house the construction company failed to finish all details including an open mailbox. So when windy we loose a lot heat through this hole. I decided to make a 2 stage seal by means of a hatch system. unfortunately the box opening was 340 mm so I had to cut in 2. The joint are made with 2.5 mm x 55 mm nails (1/10 inch) head cut of.
