This tray provides a simple way to reposition your battery about 1 inch in either direction to achieve optimal CG balance. It features a notch for attaching a Velcro strap and an indicator marking the center of travel, which is particularly useful when the CG remains relatively stable. Having recently built a Flite Test Kraken, I was thoroughly impressed by its flight capabilities. The plane has endless possibilities for modification and expansion, including FPV, bomb drop, and glider tow. However, these upgrades can significantly impact the aircraft's center of gravity (CG). To address this issue, I sought an easy solution to adjust the battery position. To power my Kraken, I employ two under-slung motors, which offer ample thrust to propel the plane with ease.
