2200 Battery Tray for Bixler / FT Goblin and RC Planes

I refuse to clutter up my batteries with sticky velcro, so I created this "tray" to cradle a standard 2200 lipo battery. The tray allows for up to three 155mm straps to be used for securing the battery in place. Then, I attach a piece of velcro underneath, which keeps the tray firmly attached to the plane's surface. There should be enough room at the bottom of the tray to add some Umagrip or other tacky material and increase the grip even further. I've been using this setup with great success on my Bixler and FT Goblin aircraft. Update: I recently strengthened the loop areas that hold the velcro straps, as they were prone to breaking during crashes.
