Human: Functional mock-up suppressor designed for cosmetic use. With no modifications, it will not actually reduce noise levels from firearms, rendering it perfectly compliant with laws regarding sound suppression devices. This mock-up was created purely for the aesthetic appeal of having something screwed onto threaded firearm barrels. Note that using this on a real firearm will likely result in catastrophic damage, resulting in an explosion potentially injuring yourself. Printer Settings: Manufacturer: Ultimaker Printer Model: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: None Supports: None Layer Thickness: .2 mm Infill Percentage: 100% Notes: The full size of this mock-up is roughly 3-3.5 inches. Post-Machining Design Approach: This mock-up was designed using Autodesk Inventor one evening. Assembly and Installation: 1. Carefully clean excess plastic out of the threads. 2. Possibly re-thread the barrel by using a 1/2" x 28 TPI tap to achieve optimal performance. 3. Securely attach this mock-up suppressor onto your firearm for an additional touch of style without any functional consequences.
