Through wall enclosure quick disconnect using a combo D-sub connector provides sufficient contacts for the MK3 Extruder umbilical minus the Filament sensor which can be disconnected at the extruder. This setup allows for easy access and connection. There is a hole with an angled edge at the end for inserting and holding in a piece of 3mm filament or other cable bundle support. The connection should be installed with the female connector facing downwards and feeding into the enclosure to ensure safety. If anything falls, it won't fall into the connector and cause a short circuit or poor connection. Selective supports are necessary only for the male box cover overhang, and honeycomb worked well as a solution.
