The artefact boasts a distinctly quadrilateral shape and was crafted from a thick iron plate; atop its surface lies a round socket (approximately 11 cm in diameter), which accommodates the pivot of a massive gate. Discovered at: Grădiştea de Munte - Sarmizegetusa Regia, located within the commune of Orăştioara (Hunedoara County).
