210mm Zaribo MK3(s) Rel 3 - Compatible Original Prusa Firmware
thingiverse
# Introduction Welcome to the Zaribo Thingiverse project page! This design is identical to all other Zaribo versions, with the exception that Z top holders are 10mm longer to work seamlessly with Original Prusa Firmware without requiring any edits to the Z height. The Y rod holders at the back have also been lengthened slightly to accommodate the Original Prusa Y rods, which are 10mm shorter than those found in the Zaribo Original. As this design does not include an extruder, users are expected to utilize their own extruder from their Original Prusa MK3(s) printer. Special thanks go out to all our members for their contributions as the project grows within a remarkably friendly and courteous platform. # Manual A comprehensive 186-page assembly manual is available here: https://zaribo.com/blog/zaribo-build-guide-pdf/ # Project Pages * Blog: https://zaribo.com/blog * github: https://github.com/Zaribo/Zaribo-MK3 # Thanks There are numerous individuals who have contributed in one way or another to the project. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has inspired or supported us. Many ideas were discussed within the Facebook groups: Official Zaribo Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1914969582138279/ German Zaribo Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1914969582138279/ We extend special thanks to 3d-Gussner and Bernd Brinkert for their immense support and effort in providing and testing Zaribo firmware. Thank you, Rebecca and Jason, from LDO Motors and Martin from Bondtech for the quality manufacturing and relationship. Thanks also go out to our other supplier: E3d, Microswiss, Slice Engineering, Misumi for delivering high-quality products to us. # Sources We give references that have influenced the design. Since the majority of plastic parts (even if much improved and somehow "new and different") have their roots in the initial design by Prusa Research we like to mention this as a first and most influential reference. * Prusa: http://www.prusa3d.com Frame * Prusa i3 MK2-X by davtr https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1692666 * Haribo Project https://github.com/PrusaMK2Users/3030_Haribo_Edition y-rodholder: * they have been inspired by the design of Piotr Karkovski https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2830591 y-bearing holder * the clamp mechanism is similar to one used on the x-axis.
