20x20 v-Slot Corner Joint
thingiverse
I wanted to create a sturdy 4-post rack for small parts utilizing leftover 20mmx20mm V-slot railing, so I designed it accordingly. Each rail should be securely fastened in place using at least two screws and features recessed screw holes that will sit flush with the corner joint surface when completed. The screw holes are precisely engineered to accommodate the circular 10mm screws. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: Not Required Supports: Yes, Recommended for Stronger Prints Infill: 30% Notes: This design should fit comfortably on a compact print bed (5x5x5 inches, similar to my XYZ Da Vinci Jr printer). I used a dense infill and supports to provide additional stability and enable successful bridging of top components. For optimal results, consider using linear supports instead of waffle patterns, as they are easier to clean up with the rail's tolerance for smooth sliding motion.
