I printed version 2 of JamesK1's 2020 Mounted Spool Roller and have been using it for a while now, and I'm very happy with its performance and appearance on the rail. However, I wanted to add supports to my Z-axis, which left me with a decision: either replace the existing spool roller or create a base that would allow me to continue using my existing one next to the printer. I chose the latter option and came up with this simple modification to the existing v2 base. All I did was flip the v2 base and add a block for the existing v2 base to sit on, which seems to be working well so far.
