20mm Extrusion uses ONLY M3 hardware, screws and nuts

I got frustrated trying to find an extrusion system that clicked together easily and required specialized nuts for assembly. Every time I did, I discovered that the screw holes were sized for M4 or M5 screws instead of standard ones, so I decided to design something new. My goal is simple: to create a versatile system that anyone can use with ease. I start by creating an 20mm slot-based design, one that seamlessly accepts and holds a sturdy 5.5mm M3 nut, followed by securing it all down using robust M3 screws. Each end features perfectly placed holes that provide effortless mounting options for snug 20mm corner pieces secured tightly with matching M3 screws. But I didn't stop there. I aimed to provide even more flexibility in my designs, which is why each new size uploaded will come with more configurations and attachments in mind. Currently, this particular design features two flat sides only – a conscious decision made to simplify production without sacrificing too much on aesthetic appeal. By printing horizontally rather than vertically, users can take full advantage of expanded printer capacities up to about 10 inches. Those looking for a more vertical approach or wanting the exact opposite might soon have that option too, though that specific layout will have some print and assembly caveats. So keep watching my uploads; you won't want to miss new options designed specifically with standard sizes and M3 nuts in mind, giving users more power to mix, match and customise their prints however they please.
