20mm Clip with Pan/Tilt and Lock Screw
thingiverse
Fits Ender printers, and other printers that use the same size 20x20 rails. This is a basic design to be remixed for more specific purposes. It has a pad that can be glued to a flat surface of another design. Print with supports touching build plate only; the turret has breakaway supports inside. Twist the clip piece so the turret breaks loose and can rotate. Place the piece with the pad between the loops of the turret, and insert the screw. The screw can be tightened to lock the pad into place. This can be printed in PLA with a high infill and it is strong enough for light loads. I've had better luck with PETG and better yet with nylon. For ABS printing I found the regular model inadequate, so I've added a dedicated ABS version with enhancements unique to that material. The second picture shows I gorilla glued the flat pad to one of my perma proto lamps (the UV LED one) found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4551441 The lamp sits higher above the print area than I'd prefer, so am hoping to dream up a redesign to bring the payload closer to the level of the rails. (It would be a separate Thing; this design is staying the same.) The goblin is from here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/hopkinsville-goblin (not free, sorry).
