Bench Dog for 20mm holesYou need:e.g PETG Filamentone countersunk head screw M8x1.25 35mm length , head diameter 16-17mm2 part epoxy gluea 3d Printer ;-)Works fine for all 20mm holes to hold wood panels or other things in place while you are working on your workbench. I first printed it in 100% PETG no infill. My first model cracked when applying a reasonable amount of pressure. So I asked myself how to reinforce the Structure an preventing the bench dog from breaking appart. MMost likely everybody has some screws in their workshop. So I designed a central screw tom enforce the cylinder. You will need countersunk head screw, M8 and 35mm length (see picture). Preferably use a thread tap M8x1.25. In spite of the fact that there is a preprinted thread in the model, it will be easier to get the screw in if you use the corresponding metric thread cutting tap. I used an 2 part epoxy glue and I think this is a good possibility to add even more strength to the part. Until now the combination with an M8 screw seems stable enough I couldn't break the bench dog appart using it in the Workbench. If you want change the Design and use a cylinder head screw. happy printing…
