20mm & 100mm Cuvette Holders for Evolution 201

This is a replacement cuvette holder designed specifically for ThermoFisher Scientific Evolution 201 UV-Visible Spectrophotometers. It may also work with similar or related models. The original equipment configuration used standard 3.5ml cuvettes, measuring approximately 12mm x 12mm x 45mm in size. Our faculty members wanted to test larger sample sizes, which necessitated the use of bigger cuvettes. These replacement cuvette holders replace the originals and attach securely to the base plate using the same screw as before. They can accommodate either a 20mm (7ml) or a 100mm (35ml) cuvette. Due to their shorter length compared to OEM holders, these cuvettes extend above the top of the holder, making them easier to grip by hand or tool when needed. They were printed with three shells and a 30% infill to provide sufficient structural strength, given that students may handle them. Note: The "20mm" and "100mm" dimensions refer specifically to the length of light path provided by the cuvette. The holders were printed in black PLA to prevent any issues caused by reflected light from other colors.
