Wow, thanks to all of you out there! Never thought I'd hit this number on any social profile ever, especially not for stuff I'm so passionate about doing. I created a special model for this occasion as a little side project: using 20k vertices scattered across the surface of the letters "20k". I connected these vertices based on distance threshold, then duplicated them to create the same pattern on the outside of the mesh and deleted the ones that were too far away. Next, I calculated density and re-meshed with a poly budget of 20k triangles. Finally, I filled the inside with an additional 20k vertices, meshed them, and reduced them back down to 20k triangles. That was just a fun experiment to see how many different things you can do with the number 20k. And I think it's a great representation of what the amazing community of Sketchfab can achieve by simply browsing the site and following other people whenever they take an interest in the incredible pieces of art that everyone keeps uploading here every day. Can't say enough about how much every single one of you motivates me to keep doing what I do here. Thanks!
