2040 V-slot Linear Slider (with preload)

This model serves as a linear slider for a 2040 V-slot extrusion, designed to achieve linear motion without relying on wheels. This approach proves to be one of the most budget-friendly options available, significantly cheaper than using V-slot rollers or a linear rods and bearings setup. The motivation behind this design lies in my need for an affordable motion system for a 3D printer I was planning to build. Having already assembled a 3D printer and possessing spare V-slot extrusions, I saw an opportunity to utilize these resources creatively. This sparked the idea that eventually evolved into the linear slider model. Key components of this design include the "spring loaded slide heads" or SLSH, which comprise six essential parts that make direct contact with the 2040 extrusion.
