Highly recommended: 16T pulleys, steps XY 100, better turning ratio, and 20 percent resolution boost. Important: The BMG should not be adjusted if it needs to be something is wrong with the QC if it's a clone. Bondtech 415 is correct if you have to adjust flow more than 10 percent; there are issues between the hotend and the extruder. Prusa uses 280 on the non-geared extruder. Screws: Buy metric bundle kit; they generally contain everything required. Important: The spacers are garbage stock replace them. The tolerances typically almost fit an M6 screw... hence the frame alignment instability issues/assembly difficulties. Wires: Heavily suggest Dupont crimp set. Lock nuts/washers on everything - they matter! This is a high-performance build; it needs to be reliable everywhere, and things not coming loose. Requirements: BMG or OEM BMG clones: Wire brush the teeth to sharpen and debur. Check the gear has no excess plastic under the hob gear if it does cut it. The hob should be flush to the gear. The lever print a Bondtech version to get rid of the massive gap. V6 or V6 Volcano duct works with either - the lock requires the bowden version or a clone heatsink to thread into. A tube straight down with an adaptor also works, however less stable but not problematic. Important: Retract if it's working right is between 0.5-0.8 PLA; slightly more for ABS and PETG up to 0.8-1mm for things like TPU. Retract speed is 20mms-30 depending on material - never set it higher, and machine gun the nozzle; it leads to pressure issues. To assemble: First put the mount on and the lock. Loosen the threaded adapter to the appropriate height to line up with the BMG rear bracket. I slide the rear bracket on after the V6 is installed; it's a tight fit - don't be afraid to bend the mount slightly back to get it in. Then install the front BMG cover. Be weary of the large gear on the BMG; they like to tilt as you seemble it make sure it lines up with the gear bearing or the BMG case will not close. Then install the screws, and you are done.
