Hello! I've recently completed upgrading my Anet A8 to AM8 and needed a new spool holder without screws for more than one spool.\r\nI found denos' remixed design and modified it slightly for use as shown in the picture!\r\nThe STL file I provide works with 608-sized bearings, commonly used in fidget spinners.\r\nI adjusted the model by cutting off some material from the top to ensure flush bearing installation, eliminating a 4mm gap or internal space.\r\nThis makes alignment significantly easier.\r\nThese rods are the ones I purchased https://goo.gl/2SzxDR\r\nChoose any desired length, but for larger builds consider using higher infill percentages.\r\n[Update]\r\nUnfortunately, these rods are now unavailable. Search "8mm smooth rod" with your preferred length instead, such as "8mm x 406mm smooth rod," which is the length I used.\r\n[/Update]\r\nI've also shared an end cap design for 8mm rods. While they would likely work with hard plastic, I printed mine in TPU for easy installation and removal.\r\nIt's recommended to print these spools so that if your printer isn't perfectly leveled, the spool ends won't slide off.
