2040 delta corner
thingiverse
I waited eagerly for the 2040 Alu Vertex for Kossel XXL or XXXL from robotdigg to arrive, so I printed these as a mock-up in the meantime. These can be used instead of aluminium corners, but you won't get the same sturdiness and heat transfer to cool stepper motors that you would with aluminium corners. Still, they come in handy if you're planning to add a third horizontal frame to your build, like I did. See the attached image. For example, an extra frame below the heated bed frame where power supplies and electronics can be placed well away from the heated bed. To serve this purpose, I added a 20mm "idler" version in addition to the normal 40mm "idler" and 60mm "motor" versions. The aluminium corners from robotdigg are available at https://www.robotdigg.com/product/555/2040-or-3030-Alu-Vertex-for-Kossel-XXL-or-XXXL. They're quite pricey, I had to pay $60 plus shipping. But it was worth it.
