2020 X-Axis Upgrade for Tronxy P802
thingiverse
I fitted the Tronxy P802 series perfectly. The absence of Z nut holes is notable, as I opted for an anti-Z-wobble decoupler instead, rendering those holes unnecessary. Performance-wise, it's been amazing, with significantly reduced noise levels. To secure the extruder to the mini gantry, I drilled temporary holes into the metal plate, but I'm aware that this might not be a long-term solution. The Tronxy P802 series features a 17mm distance between the smooth rod and leadscrew, whereas the ANET A8 model boasts a 22mm distance. In terms of design requirements, an original setup necessitates a 20-tooth pulley to align the belt parallel to the X-axis. However, I designed a hook for the mini gantry that enables the use of a 16-tooth pulley, ensuring belt alignment.
