2020 vibration damper bolt-on v5 (for mini Kossel)

Update: After several months of use, the v5 lost some of its shape due to PLA flexing from the growing weight of the Kossel Mini (1kg spool on top, pcb heatbed+4mm glass). Although it still works fine, the lower tabs now rest flat on the table instead of being on their tips. I created a new version, v6, that prints with slanted inner tabs (eliminating the need for cutting) and thicker tabs to better hold the weight. V6 is now available: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1597990 These are custom-made damper feet designed specifically for the 2020 Kossel Mini versions. To install, you will need to print three of these and bolt them to the underside of each vertical aluminum extrusion corner. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Kossel Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 to 0.3 mm Infill: 30% Notes: When using a slicer, make sure to choose layer settings that minimize travel moves, as some configurations can cause unnecessary bridging and traveling. This part is relatively simple, but optimal settings are crucial. Print Time: Approximately 15 minutes Post-Printing: To install the feet, bolt them to the underside of the vertical extrusions. You may need to create an M4 thread on the center hole of each vertical extrusion for a secure fit. I also designed the top center holes with M4 threads for potential future add-ons. Before installing, clean the hole in the foot with a drill if necessary, but you can simply screw it in place since the clearance is tight and will help secure the bolt like a nyloc nut. Depending on your Kossel corners, you might need to trim a small portion of the feet tab on each side (as shown in the images) for a precise fit within the inner corner of the Kossel Mini. Design Process: Designed using Blender 3D. I researched existing snap-in designs but found them incompatible with the Kossel Mini's 2020 corners. To accommodate this, I designed these feet to be bolted under each corner, resulting in better stability, balance, and reduced noise levels.
