2020 Variable Angle Frame For RepRapDiscount Full Graphic LCD
thingiverse
I was thoroughly dissatisfied with my RepRapDiscount Full Graphic LCD mount. It frequently happened that I would stand directly in front of the printer and be unable to see anything on the display to control the printer effectively. My response to this issue was a variable angle frame, which provided a solution that worked perfectly for me. The mount is securely attached underneath the upper front 2020 profile of my printer. The display frame is firmly fixed to the 2020 frame part using two long M3 screws from either side. I carefully positioned the display itself on the backside of the frame. It's also a good idea to attach the provided spacers between the lcd screen pcb and the main pcb to reduce the force applied to the solder points connecting the pcbs when tightening the M3 screws. Before mounting the display, make sure to place the knob for the pushbutton in its correct position. All screws used are M3, but I'm not certain of their length, so you'll need to determine that for yourself.
