A Simple Direct Drive Carriage for V-Slot Extrusions. I Replaced the Original Carriage on my Tronxy X5SA with This One. No Support Needed. Sacrificial Layer in 2 Holes, Just Poke Through. There Are 2 Versions Available. The Front Section Remains the Same, While the Rear Section Offers Two Options: Mounting a 40mm Fan for Pancake Steppers or Accommodating a Standard Stepper Motor. The Wheel Tensioning Mechanism Requires Adjustment, so You Must Test the Optimal Length of the M3 Screws. I Secure the Belt Using Clips Available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3528928. A Bracket Is Included to Mount the Tronxy X-Endstop. Another Bracket Allows for Equal Belt Tensioning. Instructions Follow: 1. Fix the Bracket in Place with Screws in Slotted Holes, But Don't Tighten Them Yet – The Bracket Must Still Move Along the Slots. 2. Secure the Bracket in the Center with a Screw or Stick in One of the Top Holes. 3. Tighten Your Belts. 4. Remove the Screw or Stick from the Top Hole; When the Belt Tension Was Not Equal, the Bracket Will Shift Slightly. 5. Tighten the Screws in the Slotted Holes – Done. Required Components Include: 2x M5x30 or Longer (from Stock X5SA Carrier) M5 Washers 1x M5x35 or Longer 3x M5 Nuts 3x V-Wheels (from Stock X5SA Carrier) 6x 8mm Spacers (from Stock X5SA Carrier + Spare) 2x M3x12, M3x14, or Possibly M3x16 Screws Optional: 2x M3 Nuts
