2020 Tool Holder
thingiverse
UPDATE 10/22: I have printed my own and found that the mounting point is too small in many ways, although the hole itself works perfectly fine. This issue has been fixed for all versions, so I will reprint to verify. Hello fellow makers, I present a creation of my own that you might appreciate. This design is quick and simple, made specifically for my collection of tools. Previously, I used a Prusa tool holder, but the clip had already broken off (which was useless to me anyway), so I drilled it and bolted it on. This wasn't ideal. This holder features a wide slot that can hold a large glue stick. If yours is larger, kudos to you! There's also a slot for a scraper, as well as some rectangular slots intended for pliers/cutters. In addition, there are holes for Allen keys and nozzles with M6 thread (e3d type). The other holes were made for convenience and to conserve filament. If you're feeling adventurous, I've included two other versions of this design. One has a second mounting point for another M5 screw to ensure everything is sturdy and square. However, I don't plan on printing this one myself, but I thought it was worth sharing with you daring folks. For an even bigger challenge, there's a version that features a tube to insert your glue stick into instead of a shallow divot. This design looks cool, but it may not be practical due to the printing orientation constraints. Print at your own risk! I hope you enjoy this design! Feel free to let me know if any changes need to be made or if you have any requests.
