2020 Tensioner (Tronxy X3 X axis)
thingiverse
I designed a simple yet effective tensioner for my X-axis printer. It's compatible with the Tronxy X3A, but can be adapted to other printers where the belt runs within a slot-profile. This tensioner needs to be mounted at the end of a 2020 profile. Initially, I realized that the STL files aren't optimally oriented for printing. To fix this, you'll need to rotate the base so it lies flat on its larger surface and ensure the knob rests on its flat edge. To assemble this tensioner, you'll require: 1. One M4x30 hex screw 2. One M4 hex nut (inserted inside the knob) 3. One M3x20 screw (DIN 7991 / ISO 10642 standard) 4. One lock nut M3 5. Two F623 bearings (I used 2RS, but ZZ will also work) 6. One M3 washer (positioned between the bearings) 7. One M4 washer (between the knob and base) Date: 2019-03-28 Updated Base with additional space for slot nuts and enhanced stiffness.
