2020 T-slot plate
thingiverse
I designed a t-slot plate with corner pieces because I wanted to build a PCB using my grinder. I saw people attaching a PCB to double-sided tape, but I sought something more stable and easy to clamp into place. The photo shows two toggle clamps that I made earlier, available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2613358. Yes, the z-axis gantry will fold with the clamps I use, so I must admit they're there for aesthetic purposes only. I created a few corner and edge pieces and included the Fusion360 file, where you can easily adjust the height and angle of the edges using the first two sketches. There are several types available: - Corner: This is your fixed position - Edge wide: Use it perpendicular to the slots - Edge wide extended: Use it with a clamp when working perpendicular to the slots - Edge narrow: Use it parallel to the slots - Edge narrow extended: Use it with a clamp when working parallel to the slots Since this is a 2020 system, you can likely fit more items on it. I used m5 t-slot nuts and m5x10 hexagon bolts. I uploaded two common sizes: 220x220mm and 300x300mm. I attached these to a plywood sheet of corresponding size and secured them with brass screws (much easier to cut than other types). I created a video demonstrating how to use this thing to make a PCB, available below. Enjoy the video!
