2020 Spool Holder

Spool holder designed for Creality CR-10 and other printers using the 2020 frame, compatible with standard M3 or M4 bolts and T-nuts. To ensure stability, print at least two upright supports and the spool rod as a minimum requirement. Additionally, printable adapters are available in various sizes to prevent spools from dangling too low. For optimal filament usage, consider printing the 40 mm adapter along with the 50 and 60 mm sleeves instead of separate adapters. The filament guide helps maintain the filament on the spool edge and was printed wide enough to accommodate a dual z-axis lead screw tensioner. No supports are required for any of the pieces, making them suitable for low-infill printing as long as top and bottom layers, and shells are adequately applied. Printing with 1 mm top and bottom layers and 2 mm shells is recommended. Update: Spiral sleeve and slotted conical clamps have been added to keep various size spools centered, preventing them from hanging too low.
