2020 Snap-on filament guide - CR-X
thingiverse
Most filament guides designed for 2020 rails fail to accommodate the Creality CR-X's unique dual Z-screw setup, which features two top endcaps. To create a suitable guide, I reworked Keith Corcoran's original design by rotating the 2020 clip 90 degrees and shortening its overall height to 2.5 cm. The modified assembly was then mirrored horizontally to produce a matching guide for the opposite side rail, ensuring both guides curve inwards. For optimal performance, the guide must be firmly snapped into place before being slid to the desired height. Due to the snap-in installation process, users may need to increase the number of perimeter layers when printing with PLA or opt for a filament that offers some flexibility.
