I've leveled out the front face of numbers so it's now possible to use M600 via plugins or scripts to automate filament color changes. If you're using 0.2mm layers, start with black, switch to white at layer 28, and then return to black at layer 31. In Simplify3D, I employ the following scripts: Replace "; layer 28," with ";change filament \nM600 \n; layer 28"; Replace "; layer 31," with ";change filament \nM600 \n; layer 31"; Remember to obtain and print the arms from the original design.
