2020 Roll-in T-Nut M3 Bolt / No-Nut
thingiverse
I needed a roll-in T-nut to mount my Raspberry Pi to my 3D Printer and didn't find any 'roll-in' models online. Found the dimensional drawings with a quick search and sketched it up. After a few iterations decided that putting the M3 nut in was more headache than it was worth as it only served to make the model weaker and harder to insert, with the added bonus of possibly dropping the nut into 'areas unknown'! Printed at .15mm, 100% infill for strength (dunno how much that helps/hurts, but the amount of plastic didn't change), and used PLA as it was already in the printer. Printed vertically to keep the edges crisp.
