2020 PTZ Camera Mount using the Modular Mounting System
thingiverse
This is a custom mount designed specifically to attach an Amcrest PTZ IP camera to my Delta printer. The camera is mounted upside down, allowing it to capture a bird's eye view of the printer from directly above while remaining out of the way. Standard 60mm Modular Mounting Arms are used for this purpose, but I've added a cable management channel to them for improved organization. Two additional mounts were designed: one with a cable management hook and another plain one. These mounts utilize the same mounting style as the camera mount itself. To enhance the camera mount's performance, some tweaks were made compared to its predecessor. Specifically, the hook on the mount was shifted downward by 1.5mm, which should provide a more secure catch for the camera. Update: Following feedback and usage, I've noted that noticeable vibration occurs when using this cam with the printer running. This is expected given its intended purpose. However, it may not be ideal for all users. A wall or pegboard mount may be in development to address this issue. If you create a similar mount, please share your experience.
