2020 Power Led Corner Bracket, HyperCube
thingiverse
I designed these brackets for my HyperCube printer, which was crafted by Tech2C at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1752766. Since I dislike mounting the led strip around the extrusion, I chose to utilize the spaces between the corner brackets instead. Due to the presence of XY_Idlers on the back side, I had to create two different types of brackets for the front and back corners of the extrusion. These brackets are specifically designed for power led chips with aluminum plate heat sinks, as illustrated in the third picture. For powering the led chips, I soldered them in series with a thin wire after attaching the leds to the heatsinks. Once printed, glue the heatsinks to the brackets using CA+activator or a similar substance. To attach the brackets, I employed double-sided tapes; however, hot glue could be an alternative option. Print Settings: Printer: HyperCube Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: %20 Notes: Brackets should be printed with ABS or PETG that is resistant to heat since the power leds can reach high temps. How I Designed This I created this design using SpaceClaim.
