I replaced the control board on my Ender-3 with an MKS Gen 1.4 and needed a way to mount it to a 2020 or 2040 profile. The hole on the side fits snugly around an M5 SHCS, but an M4 could work too with a bit more play. The bottom hole is 2.75mm in diameter, allowing an M3 SHCS to be screwed in without tapping the hole and providing a rigid fit. This hole is centered 4mm away from the vertical face of the webs, accommodating both the MKS Gen 1.4 and the Raspberry Pi 3 B+. I support both boards on three corners with these small blocks, giving my board a solid and secure feel.
