2020 mounts
thingiverse
Various sliding mounts for the year 2020 are produced.\r\n- RAMPS/2560\r\n - Prints adhere strictly to RADDS description guidelines.\r\n - The bolt hole that appears as a spike instead of a traditional hole may require adjustment.\r\n I forget if I corrected the STL file or simply removed it from my model.\r\n- RADDS/Due\r\n - Printing horizontally (as supplied) with internal supports within the 2020 part is more efficient than printing upright without support.\r\n- 60xx fan\r\n - Vertical printing without supports will work, but adding supports to protrusions on the 2020 section will provide additional stability.\r\n - Consider printing the grille twice for added protection of the fan from connector wires. This is an optional feature.\r\n\r\nEach mount should have minimal grip on the 2020 with friction being the primary means of holding it in place.\r\nM4x10 bolts and t-nuts are used to secure the mount firmly in position. Wingnut or other adjustable nut heads are recommended for easy adjustment.\r\n\r\nPrints were made using PLA material at 200C, a bed temperature of 60C, a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm, layer height of 0.3mm, wall and top/bottom thickness of 2.0mm, with an infill percentage of 20% although almost no infill is generated due to the 2mm walls.\r\nI prefer these mounts to be solid rather than hollow.
