I was really impressed by the overall design of that spool holder, but it was specifically created to work with an Ultimaker and its unique mount. However, I decided to create a simple adapter to use this on standard aluminum extrusion frames. After testing, I'm happy to report that it's working flawlessly on my Folgertech FT-5! This design is tailored for the 608 bearing variant of the original thing. Check out this video to see it in action:
