2020 extrusion printer - driver fan(5~7cm)
thingiverse
It attaches firmly to the 2020 extrusion, keeping your RAMPS board stable and preventing stepper motor drivers from overheating. This helps minimize the likelihood of stepper motors losing steps. The type of screws used are M3-10mm (8), M3-25mm (3), and M4-10mm (2), which attach to the 2020 extrusion. To power the fan, you can connect it to: 1. The End stop port, using a 5V-GND-Signal connection with a yellow wire (not used). 2. Or directly to a power source of 12V. The installation process is as follows: Step 1: Attach the RAMPS and Arduino boards to the board shelf. Step 2: Connect the fan shelf to the board shelf, ensuring that an M3-10mm screw is not used on the fan shelf for convenient rotation during installation. Step 3: Attach the board shelf to the 2020 extrusion. Step 4: Connect all other wires to the RAMPS board. Step 5: Install the fan. Update History: * May 3, 2016: A notch was added. * May 4, 2016: The power jack notch width was corrected. * May 6, 2016: An optional long shelf was introduced. * May 8, 2016: An optional single board for the long shelf was added.
