2020 Extrusion Hidden 0.080" (2mm) Plexiglass Spacer

I didn't want to shell out extra cash for thicker plexiglass, so I opted for 0.080" (2mm) thick plexiglass for my 3D printer enclosure, but because it's thinner than standard 2020 t-slot openings, it rattled back and forth like crazy. I designed these inserts to take up the slack. These supports are cleverly hidden printed in black with matching black extrusions, making them devilishly hard to capture on camera. Print as many as you need to fully fill the t-slot on all sides. You can insert them directly into the profile without sliding them in from the end, but to make things easier, I recommend installing the plexiglass first and then sliding these inserts in one at a time until you've filled up the slot. Just trim the last one with cutters to get it the right length. You can easily scale these inserts to match any required length.
