(Almost) universal filament guide === ###A bit of backstory I bought my first 3D printer a few weeks ago, already thought about and made some upgrades to it, but this is the first visible one. As a lot of you, I was tired of seeing my filament getting *real* close to my Z-Axis rod. I was looking for a compact filament guide, but almost all the ones that I had seen were **enormous**. ###Basic idea So I grabbed Filboyt's design, modified a bit his end clip, printed it, and designed a new arm/hook from the ground-up based on the dimensions of my new end clip. Using Autocad for the main part. The hook is designed to accomodate 1.75 and 2.85mm filament, the 1.75 one can be fed through the notch on the hook ( it's a tight fit tho' ), while the 2.85 will need to be fed through the loop directly. The arm is designed so that the filament loop will be offset 30mm to the back and 45mm left from the edge of the 2020 extrusion ( see picture ) This is not my first design, but it is my first upload. so keep an eye on me as I will post regularly new things.
