This is a precision jig designed specifically for cutting 2020 aluminum extrusion with ease. To make accurate 90-degree cuts, I recommend using a jigsaw equipped with a metal blade - it's significantly more convenient than constantly switching out the saw blade on a chop saw. My standard woodworking jigs are too bulky and cumbersome to handle this size of material effectively, so I created a compact piece specifically tailored for this task, and it performs flawlessly. A sturdy flange on the back allows for effortless attachment of a clamp. If you're prone to shaky hands, simply print two copies and use one on each side of your project. In theory, this jig could also be repurposed as a convenient way to mount 2020 aluminum to any surface with precision and ease.
