2020 Corner Assembly Jig Bracket for Lulzbot Taz 6, Taz WH, Taz Pro
thingiverse
Just a quick little jig I whipped up to help ensure assembling the corners of a Lulzbot Taz 6, Taz Workhorse, or Taz Pro machine are done properly / square. It also ensures that the outside facing corner brackets seen on the Taz series printers do not sit proud of the frame and interfere with the electronics mount. Thought I'd share, but use at your own risk. You'll need to print at least 4 of these to assemble a face. Tolerances are "bang on". There is no "slop" engineered in. Print with PLA on a very well calibrated printer to ensure dimensional accuracy. If it doesn't fit - your printer is not calibrated, or your filament is swelling. If you print this in ABS, you're going to need to modify the file to add "ABS swelling" tolerances. Why bother - it's a quick jig, why not just print it in PLA? Cheers,
