2020 Carbon Fiber Square Tube MGN9 Rail Parts and Tools

These are parts and assembly helpers to use a square carbon fiber tube for a corexy X gantry with an mgn9 rail. Specifically made for the vcore 3 but it could be adapted for other printers. Only the endstop and end nut holders are specific to the vcore. Fusion 360 file included in case you want to change tolerances or edit for a different rail size or printer. You will need 2x end nut holders which require 3x M5 nuts each and two rail positioners to hold the rail in place when drilling mounting holes in the carbon tube. There is a nut positioner that is meant to attach at the end of a dowel or rod. I used a 1/2" dowel but the project file can be edited in just one step to use whatever size you have. An M3 nut is inserted into the holder and then positioned in the tube under a mount hole. Screw it down tight with an M3 screw and then pull the positioner down and back out for the next nut. I recommend PC, or CF filled filament for these parts because they need to be tough and rigid. The M5 nuts should be a press fit into the end nut holders. The M3 nut positioner should hold the nut snugly enough to apply some torque, but it should not be a press fit.
