2020 Caliper Axis Calibration Mount - Tevo Tornado, Creality Cr-10, Ender 3, Flash
thingiverse
This tool enables users to mount a caliper on any 2020 style profile. Its purpose is to allow users to accurately measure their machine's axial movement, enabling them to precisely set steps/mm in the x, y or z axis. Required hardware consists of: An M3 nut A long M3 screw (over 10mm) - I used a thumb screw An M4 drop-in tee nut A socket head cap screw with a 15mm diameter This tool is designed for use with a Mitutoyo caliper, but the STEP file has been included to facilitate easy remixing for other models or available hardware. To ensure accurate calibration, it's recommended that users send move commands from a computer during the process. I found that using this method produced more consistent results than relying on the "Move Axis" function of my 3D printer. If users are unable to adapt the STEP file to their specific needs, they're welcome to reach out and I'll be happy to assist them if possible.
