What's this? A mount that attaches directly to 2020 extrusion profiles, allowing you to run cables through it and secure them tightly with a ziptie. Why did I create this? I initially wanted to use the 2020 Cable Zip Tie Mount by joochung for my Anet A8 AM8 conversion. However, the original design required M5x8 screws, which I didn't have on hand - the AM8 uses M5x10 button head screws instead. The M5x10 proved too long to properly secure the mount, so I redesigned it by raising its height by 2mm. This gave me the necessary clearance. I left the other specifications unchanged, so the mount still uses an M5 screw and the hole for the ziptie measures 5x2mm. To ensure proper alignment, I also created additional versions with vertical and horizontal fins that slot into the extrusion profile. These versions are harder to print and may require support. I know they're a bit ugly, but I saw no other way. Misc This file was initially published in my 3D-Printing Github repository. Version History - 1.0 - initial release - 1.0.1 - fins were truly centered after adjusting the offset to make them perfectly centered.
