2020-Based Universally Mountable Hotend Heatsink (MOCKUP)
thingiverse
This object is not intended for print.\r\n\r\nA concept has been developed to transform a section of 2020 extrusion into a hotend heatsink by drilling and tapping each end with M6 thread, attaching a bowden coupler on top and a heat break on the bottom, then adding a heat block onto the heat break. This design offers the benefit of being able to be mounted on any set of vertically aligned M4-sized screw holes via T-nuts.\r\n\r\nCurrently, there is no means to test this design. However, the idea has been deemed worthy of consideration and may spark interest in someone.\r\n\r\nThe heatbreak that inspired this concept can be found at https://www.amazon.com/WINSINN-Titanium-Heatbreak-Short-Range-Thread/dp/B077GT6684/.
