<p>When changed to direct drive, the filament on my Ender 3 tended to spring back and wrap itself around the spool holder, so I made this filament guide that slides onto the aluminum profile. It has a thin slot cut in the ring. The filament won't go through the slot by itself, but you can pull it open if you don't want to have to thread the filament through the ring.</p><p>Needs supports. Used PrusaSlicer and manually added supports only on the very bottom edge of the bit that slides into the profile.</p><p>The OpenSCAD file required the 2020 Slot Mount SCAD module by rollinns - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1295205</p>
