2020 Alum frame snap on feet
cults3d
Here are two simple aluminum frame feet printed in flexible material, consisting of 4 or 5 shells along with top and bottom sections. With an infill rate ranging from 25-40% depending on nozzle size and type of flex material used, these feet proved strong yet flexible enough to absorb vibrations effectively. Printing out solid materials is also possible, and using a layer or two of old mouse pad underneath them works surprisingly well. The 2020_foot is designed as a full-sized support for larger applications, while the 12_2020_foot serves as a half-size variant, although it appears that the design file was missing a crucial backslash character.
