This is a custom-made radio mounting system designed specifically for the 2019 Polaris Slingshot's double din stereo slot. The installation was seamless, with the mount fitting perfectly into the dash without needing any additional fasteners. To achieve this precise fit, I printed the part face down on a raft, which gave it a unique texture that I found appealing. However, I would not recommend using PLA as the printing material due to its tendency to warp over time - although it may take several months for this to occur. The radio fits snugly into the mount, requiring careful handling when attempting to remove it. I learned this the hard way by accidentally breaking a radio screen while trying to dislodge the unit from the mounting system. This highlights just how tight the tolerance is between the two components. One reassuring aspect of this design is that you won't need an additional bracket to secure the radio to the mount - my experience has proven this to be unnecessary, so trust me when I say it's not required.
